2019 Cal State Convention Specialty Shows

Specialty show at BVRA in Stockton CA

We had a good showing at our Specialty show in Stockton with 56 entries! Congratulations to Elizabeth Morlane for winning BOB with her white Sr. doe and Karen Chesnut for winning BOSB with her broken 6/8 buck. Thank you to Doug King for judging!! West Coast Classic, May 2014
We had a wonder show this year at the West Coast Classic in Reno NV this year! There were 5 total shows over a 3 day period, 2 being specialties put on by our club. Here's the stats:
- Friday night show: 67 rabbit shown by 12 exhibitors. BOV Black went to Jaci & Brian Tatro, BOV Broken to Mike Portlock, BOV red to Annie Willson and BOV White to Manuel & Linda Hidalgo. BOB went to Manuel & Linda's 6/8 white buck and BOSB went to Katie & Carter Lunxon's Sr. White Doe.
- Saturday's show: 72 rabbits shown by 13 exhibitors. BOV black went to Chris & Denise Lowey, BOV broken to Katie & Carter Luxon, BOV red & white to Manuel & Linda Hidalgo. BOB went to Manuel & Linda's 6/8 white buck and BOSB went to Katie & Carter Luxon's Sr. white doe.
Stockton, CA April 2014
Thanks to member Katie Luxon, we had a great showing of New Zealands at the Stockton, CA show in April 2014. There was a challenge put out to all breeders of New Zealands, Californians and Satins to see who could come up with the biggest numbers at the show. It made for a really fun day!

We had another great year in Reno, NV this year. There were 51 rabbits entered in both of our Specialty shows, and close to 70 New Zealand's entered in the regular shows. Here's our specialty show winners:

January Jamboree, 2012
We had a wonderful show this year in Santa Rosa, Ca. We had 75 rabbits entered in our specialty! We also did a special award for the best rabbit shown by a youth exhibitor.

There were 44 rabbits entered in the Friday night show & 50 entered in the Saturday show. We had a nice showing of every variety, but would have liked to see a few more Reds.

~WCNZRBA's first show~
We had our first show at the January Jamboree on January 15th, 2011. We had 49 rabbits entered & had a nice showing of all 4 varieties. Congratulations to Manuel & Linda Hidalgo for winning BOB & BOV white, broken & red! Also congrat's to Holly Chestnut on her BOV black. Special thanks to Kim & Colton Pinson for helping me with the awards.
